Yes, it's a broken wrist!

You may have noticed from previous posts that Shaelyn's arm was in a sling. On Thanksgiving Day, she fell off a scooter at Aunt Terri's house and broke her wrist. Today we went for a follow-up visit, and the doctor gave her a new cast. Since it will be on over Christmas, Shae chose to have a red cast with green stripes to fit the holiday spirit. She obviously didn't know I was taking this picture!

Thanksgiving Weekend!

We had a blast at Thanksgiving this year. We spend Wednesday and Thursday in Elko, NV with the Fairfields and Steve's mom & dad. We then traveled to Salt Lake where we did a lot of shopping, watched BYU beat Utah (well worth the trip) and spent time at Temple Square. Here are some pictures. The kids with Grandma & Grandpa at Temple Square.

This was a blast. The kids rode in a carriage with Grandma & Grandpa and sang Christmas carols all around Temple Square. The carriage driver even got involved in a LOUD way when singing "Five Golden Rings" during the Twelve Days of Christmas.
